   SECUENCE:
                                                               STRATEGIES

-Students look, listen and sing a song about the family members using the Xo.
-Teacher asks what the song was talking about and if they remember the family members they heard in
  the song.
-Teacher presents a video with the family members words, students look, listen and learn the words,  
   then  teacher puts them on the board; students repeat the family members´  words and write them in   
  their notebooks.
-Students look a family picture and answer the teacher’s questions about the picture and their families.
-Students listen and read Perez family introduction from their books, some volunteers students read it again.
-Students listen the paragraph about the Perez family and write the missing words then they listen again
 and   correct   the words themselves; at the end they make a group correction.
-Working in pairs, students make up short dialogs with a classmate asking and answering questions
  about the   Perez family and using the question word How many…
-As an extension activity, students write a short text talking about their families using “write” in the Xo.
